The application of refrigeration technology is essential in the design of an HVAC system, which is used to provide favourable climatic conditions both for life on board and for special applications.

The refrigeration equipment are thus considered the “heart” of the HVAC installation and their design and configuration require careful study

Based on the foregoing, HVAC systems are designed mainly under two refrigeration equipment configurations:

  • Refrigeration plants with direct expansion of refrigerant (UC Condensing Units)
  • Refrigeration plants for chilled water (CHW Chiller water plants)

Fan Coils

The fan coil or convector fan units are air handling terminal units capable of individually filtering, cooling or heating the environmental conditions of the areas to be treated. An installation with a fan coil system represents, compared to other systems used, initial savings in terms of installation and subsequently in maintenance.

The result of perseverance and rigour in research and development, we have reached the combination of modern aesthetics and high acoustic, aerodynamic and technical performance, along with the capability of solving the particularities of any installation.

The FANCOILS are manufactured in several models with the idea of adapting, in as far as possible, to architectural requirements during assembly.

Circular Duct Fans

Circular duct fans represent a technically perfect solution, uniting the advantages of axial fans(straight airflow and easy installation) with the characteristics of the radial fans (high pressure stability, low noise level and high efficiency).

These fans are one phase (1 x 230V) and they work at 50 and 60 Hz.

Two available casings: metal and plastic casing.

Rectangular Duct Fans

The duct fans provide a distinctive advantage over axial fans, i.e. straight airflow and easy installation, high pressure stability, low noise level and high efficiency of the radial fan.

Carrier Marine Units

Carrier air conditioning technology leads the way with a proven line of marine and industrial grade single-package cooling units Models 90MA/MF/MU. The 90M packaged cooling systems are available in four convenient sizes, ranging from 3 to 10 tons (10.5 to 35.1 kW) to ideally meet the needs for a variety of marine and industrial cooling applications.

These units can be installed in the conditioned space and specified for either ducted applications or freeblow applications with an accessory plenum.

Frizonia Units

Defroster Systems

Defroster systems are used to eliminate the mist which is produced on glazed areas/windows when the surface reaches temperatures below the atmospheric dew point temperature.

By way of the combination of air handling units/fans, heating coils, ducts and nozzles, different defroster systems can be designed.

Our defroster systems are taylor-made to meet the project requirements, based always on International Standards.

Steam Humidifiers

Ideally suited where there is a need to maintain humidification within given tolerances, but where a brief delay in response, as the system adjusts to changing humidification demands, is acceptable. These models incorporate an intelligent combination of Feeding, Boiling and Draining to minimize wastage of water and energy.

The LE model can be confi gured as an ON/OFF device and used as a master or slave in a larger system, or as proportional control device in stand-alone applications.
