Last July in Puerto Real (Cádiz) SPAIN, the ceremony for the delivery of the “Andalucía II” substation, destined for the East Anglia One offshore wind farm in the United Kingdom, to Iberdrola was carried out by Navantia.
The “Andalucía II” marine substation is the central core of the wind farm that Iberdrola promotes in British waters and its function is to collect the electricity produced by wind turbines and transform the voltage from 66 kV to 220 kV. Subsequently, the electricity is transmitted by the marine cable to the ground, minimizing the loss of power in its route. FRIZONIA has actively participated in the development of a project of high level of specialization and successful demands. |
