FRIZONIA has been contracted to design and execution of air conditioning system in a water treatment plant from a refinery in Colombia.

The contract scope includes design, equipment manufacturing, installation and commissioning of plant systems. It will be executed by FRIZONIA Spain and its subsidiary FRIZONIA Colombia.

The plant will treat, by reverse osmosis, the raw water (500,000 barrels per day) coming directly from oil production at the Rubiales field near Puerto Gaitán, in the Meta district of Colombia. The location of the plant will be a logistical challenge for Frizonia Spain and its Colombian subsidiary.
