In the quest to improve occupational health at the company’s facilities, the FRIZONIA CARDIOPROTEGIDA programme has been developed. This programme consists of the development and implementation of cardioprotected spaces in the different work areas of the headquarters.
Defibrillators and training
These cardioprotected spaces are located in visible and accessible areas and are equipped with automated external defibrillators (AEDs). As FRIZONIA’s headquarters is made up of various areas, specific cardioprotected areas have been designated for each of these areas in the Central Offices, the Design and Engineering Office and the Factory. In this way, FRIZONIA optimises its workplaces, increasing their safety.
This investment in cardioprotection has the following key points: The main objective of this project has been the installation of defibrillators, together with the corresponding signage, as well as specialised staff training in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. In this way, staff will be trained to use the equipment correctly in case of need. In addition, maintenance of the devices will be carried out, demonstrating FRIZONIA’s commitment to the health and safety of its workers, customers and the community in general.
Developed with the collaboration of Junta de Andalucía
This new project has been carried out with the support of the Junta de Andalucía thanks to the project ‘Acquisition and installation of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) equipment’, a project subsidised by the Resolution of 6 November 2024 of the Territorial Delegation of Employment, Enterprise and Self-Employment of Cadiz, for the granting of subsidies to applications for subsidies made under the Resolution of 24 May 2024, of the Directorate General for Labour, Occupational Safety and Health, which calls for subsidies for 2024, on a competitive basis, to SMEs for the Development of Occupational Risk Prevention Projects in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.
