FRIZONIA FACES THE NEXT QUARTER WITH AN INTENSE CALENDAR OF EVENTS
FRIZONIA accompanies the sector on its return to face-to-face events, developed especially in the last quarter of the year. The COVID-19 pandemic facilitated the proliferation of digital encounters. An opportunity that FRIZONIA has known how to take advantage of, participating in initiatives such as CDIN (International Congress of Naval Design and Engineering – Colombia), through the virtual presentation “HVAC Configuration in combat ships”, held last September. And although the usefulness of this model has been manifest, the sectors and entities yearned for hopeful personal reunions. FRIZONIA faces the return to the present with the same enthusiasm and gratitude for the multitude of calls. NAVALIA International Shipbuilding Meeting kicked off on September 9 and 10, providing a networking space for companies in the naval sector. October will start its Itinerary with the WMW (Word Maritime Week) fair, (Bilbao, from October 5 to 7), to which FRIZONIA will have the pleasure of attending, invited by Ferri and the Spanish Maritime Cluster, which will have its stand. We will have to wait until the middle of that same month to enjoy the Closing Act of the 250th Anniversary of the Creation of the Army Corps of Engineers (250 CIA), on October 21 in Madrid. FRIZONIA participates as a sponsor of this 250th anniversary. Likewise, from 20 to 22, the 60th Congress of Naval Engineering and Maritime Industry (A Coruña) will also germinate. The international activity of the company, based in San Fernando (Cádiz), is also felt in this sense, materializing the next stop on its roadmap at SITDEF (International Exhibition of Technology for Defense and Disaster Prevention), organized in Lima, Peru, from October 28 to 31. From November 3 to 5, this time in the national zone, the most anticipated Spanish fair of the year will take place. FEINDEF 2021 (International Defense and Security Fair) will celebrate its second edition at IFEMA, Madrid. Large Spanish companies related to the naval and defense sectors will attend. How could it be otherwise, FRIZONIA will be present, specifically, sharing the stage with GHENOVA. The company invites all those gathered to visit its stand: F26, Hall 10.

FRIZONIA COMMEMORATES EUROPEAN MARITIME DAY AND WORLD BIODIVERSITY DAY IN THE PERFORMANCE OF ITS COMMITMENT TO THE BLUE ECONOMY AND RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
At the end of May, two relevant dates coincide for the naval sector and which are directly related to the commitments established by FRIZONIA through its Corporate Social Responsibility: the European Maritime Day and the World Biodiversity Day. The European Maritime Day is celebrated this year in Den Helder (Netherlands), on May 20 and 21. For this, a series of physical and virtual events are developed, the objective of which is to make visible the relevance of the marine environment among European citizens. For its part, World Biodiversity Day takes place on Saturday, May 22. Biological diversity can be defined as the set of all living beings on the planet, the environment in which they live and the relationship they have with the same species and with others. Respecting and protecting biodiversity has a beneficial and direct effect on health, access to raw materials and water while avoiding natural disasters and the emergence of pandemics. These concepts are widely related to the blue economy, which advocates the responsible and efficient exploitation of the resources of the sea and oceans. FRIZONIA is actively committed to actions, studies, and applications that favor the blue economy, respect for the environment, and, ultimately, the sustainable performance of business tasks related to the marine environment.
