FRIZONIA performs, together with COTECMAR, the engineering review and integration in the 3D model of the HVAC System of the POC
FRIZONIA and COTECMAR have jointly performed the engineering review and integration in the 3D model of the HVAC System of the Patrullera Oceánica Colombiana (POC). The shipyard is immersed in the construction process of the vessel for the Colombian Navy (ARC). In this project, FRIZONIA will execute the design and supply of HVAC equipment for accommodation, ventilation of machinery spaces, and refrigeration equipment and enclosures for cold rooms. The agreement was officially signed on March 9, 2023, during the Colombiamar trade fair. During the review, the company visited the shipyard’s Design and Engineering Management (GEDIN) facilities, in Cartagena de Indias. COTECMAR has an extended reality laboratory (XR Lab), which allows it to optimize and facilitate the integration of systems from the early stages of design. FRIZONIA adds a new project to the extensive list of collaborations it maintains with COTECMAR and the ARC.

FRIZONIA makes a very positive assessment of its attendance at Colombiamar 2023
During the celebration of one of the most important maritime, and naval fairs in Latin America, FRIZONIA participated in its presentations, signed a contract with COTECMAR, celebrated a “Spanish Wine” in commemoration of the anniversary of its constitution and received in its stand numerous personalities of the sector. FRIZONIA participated in Colombiamar 2023, held on 8, 9, and 10 March in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. It shared a stand with other relevant Spanish companies such as Fernández Jove, Gabadi, and Ferri. During the event, the company specialized in the development of engineering, supply and assembly of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration systems for the naval, defense, offshore and industrial sectors, reached an important milestone by signing a contract with the COTECMAR shipyard. Specifically, for the execution, design and supply of HVAC equipment for the future POC (Colombian Ocean Patrol Vessel), for the Colombian Navy. On the same day of the signing, the company lived another memorable moment: a “Spanish Wine” was held on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of FRIZONIA and the tenth of FRIZONIA Colombia. Three days of intense activity where other remarkable events took place, such as the participation of the President of FRIZONIA, Javier Gamundi, in the Round Table: “Synergies between the Colombian and Spanish Maritime Industry”. FRIZONIA and COTECMAR sign the contract for the development and supply of the HVAC equipment for the POC ship for the Colombian Navy
FRIZONIA will design and supply the HVAC equipment for the POC (Colombian Ocean Patrol Vessel) that COTECMAR will build for the Colombian Navy (ARC). FRIZONIA participates at SMM Hamburg 2022
FRIZONIA participated in the last edition of SMM Hamburg. One of the main international maritime and trade fairs. The company specialises in refrigeration and air conditioning (HVAC + R systems). It has shared space with Ferri, one of the most outstanding companies in the naval sector. Both companies have a long history of collaboration. FRIZONIA received a large number of visitors at its stand (116 – Hall B1.OG.). It is worth mentioning the presence of the Spanish and Colombian Navy, as well as other relevant personalities. FRIZONIA is very grateful for all these visits. FRIZONIA is also grateful for the help of the Basque Maritime Forum and the Chamber of Commerce. FRIZONIA and COTECMAR review the progress of PAF-L vessel
The Light Riverine Patrol Support Vessel is being built by the COTECMAR shipyard and FRIZONIA has designed and supplied its HVAC system. The engineer Jefferson Pérez, Manager of the PAF-L project, has received the CEO of FRIZONIA, Carlos González, at the Mamonal plant of the COTECMAR Corporation, where they have verified the good progress of the project. FRIZONIA is developing the HVAC system for the PAF-L and has already delivered all the main equipment. They are in the process of installation on board. All deadlines set in the construction schedule are being strictly adhered to. The Shipyard is celebrating 22 years since its foundation. The Navalia 2022 exhibition has taken place from 24th to 26th May in Vigo, and FRIZONIA has participated with its stand, achieving success of visits, B2B meetings, and networking. FRIZONIA teaches a masterclass on HVAC at the UCA
The University of Cádiz was kind enough to invite FRIZONIA to teach a class for students of the Degree in Naval Architecture and Maritime Engineering. FRIZONIA attended the 19th April 2022, the School of Naval and Oceanic Engineering of the UCA (University of Cádiz). FRIZONIA gave a masterclass on HVAC systems to the students about “Integration of on-board systems” in the 3rd year of the Degree in Naval Architecture and Maritime Engineering. The company based in San Fernando (Cádiz) offered listeners theoretical knowledge and a vision of job opportunities in the environment where they are developing their studies. The students followed this training action with interest. During the three hours that the meeting lasted, they asked questions, responded to queries raised by their interlocutors, and were able to express their aspirations. COTECMAR and FRIZONIA sign the contract to develop the PAF-L HVAC system
COTECMAR and FRIZONIA signed the contract to develop the PAF-L HVAC system the last 28th January. FRIZONIA, specialized in refrigeration and air conditioning, will be in charge of developing the HVAC system of the PAF-L (Light River Support Patrol) vessel for the Navy from Colombia. The Shipyard has already started the construction of the new ship. It will be 30 meters long and 7 meters wide. It will have a crew capacity of up to 43 people. Launch of the fifth and final corvette for the Royal Saudi Navy
Next Saturday, the Corvette Avante 2200 C / 550 UNAYZAH will launch. It is the fifth and last of the vessels built in Navantia Bahía de Cádiz for the Royal Saudi Navy. FRIZONIA has been invited to the event as responsible for the engineering and design, manufacture, and installation of the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and refrigeration system of the ship. Equally, FRIZONIA has executed the HVAC system for the others four ships included in the Avante 2200 program: C / 546 Al-Jubail, C / 547 Aldiriyah, C / 548 Hail, and C / 549 ‘Jazan’. Navantia is scrupulously continuing its phased delivery plan for the five ships included in the program. FRIZONIA CHECKS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ITS EQUIPMENT IN THE SEA TRIALS OF THE FIRST SAUDI CORVETTE

LAUNCH OF THE FOURTH CORVETTE FOR THE SAUDI ROYAL NAVY
FRIZONIA has developed the air conditioning and refrigeration system for C / 549 ‘Jazan’, whose launching ceremony is scheduled for next Saturday, July 24, in Navantia San Fernando. The vessel will be sponsored by His Excellency Vice Admiral Fahad Bin Abdullah AlGhofaily, Commander of the Royal Saudi Navy. It is the fourth of the five corvettes built in the Bay of Cádiz for the Saudi Arabian Navy, within the Avante 2200 program. As in the case of its predecessors, C / 548 Hail, C / 547 Aldiriyah, and C / 546 Al-Jubail, FRIZONIA has been in charge of the engineering and design, manufacture and installation of the HVAC System (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning ) and refrigeration of the boat. FRIZONIA MANAGES THE MAINTENANCE OF THE AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS OF THE ISM HOSPITAL SHIPS
FRIZONIA manages the corrective and maintenance actions of the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system of the maritime assistance hospital ships of the Social Institute of the Navy (ISM), dependent on the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security, and Migrations. The company specializing in naval refrigeration and increasing comfort onboard is the concessionaire of the maintenance contract for the air conditioning and refrigeration system of “Juan de la Cosa” and “Esperanza del mar, since 2020. On this occasion, the cities where they have been Santander and Vigo developed these works because the boats were moored here, respectively. FRIZONIA COMMEMORATES EUROPEAN MARITIME DAY AND WORLD BIODIVERSITY DAY IN THE PERFORMANCE OF ITS COMMITMENT TO THE BLUE ECONOMY AND RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
At the end of May, two relevant dates coincide for the naval sector and which are directly related to the commitments established by FRIZONIA through its Corporate Social Responsibility: the European Maritime Day and the World Biodiversity Day. The European Maritime Day is celebrated this year in Den Helder (Netherlands), on May 20 and 21. For this, a series of physical and virtual events are developed, the objective of which is to make visible the relevance of the marine environment among European citizens. For its part, World Biodiversity Day takes place on Saturday, May 22. Biological diversity can be defined as the set of all living beings on the planet, the environment in which they live and the relationship they have with the same species and with others. Respecting and protecting biodiversity has a beneficial and direct effect on health, access to raw materials and water while avoiding natural disasters and the emergence of pandemics. These concepts are widely related to the blue economy, which advocates the responsible and efficient exploitation of the resources of the sea and oceans. FRIZONIA is actively committed to actions, studies, and applications that favor the blue economy, respect for the environment, and, ultimately, the sustainable performance of business tasks related to the marine environment.

FRIZONIA OBTAINS ISO 45001 CERTIFICATION
FRIZONIA has successfully carried out the transition to the new ISO 45001 standard, thus ensuring the implementation of the most effective occupational health and safety management systems. The reduction of incidents, the greater capacity to respond to legal requirements, and its international recognition are just some of the improvements associated with the standard. This comes to replace the OSHAS 18001 standard, a regulation that FRIZONIA has applied equally successfully until this update. Complying with the most demanding quality standards is one of the leitmotifs that characterizes us as a company, not only in terms of product development and delivery but also in terms of protecting our human capital. This new Health and Safety Standard (ISO 45001) is added to the quality standards (ISO9001 and PECAL2110) and environment (ISO 14001), thus consolidating the Integrated Management System of the company, in direct agreement with the Quality Policy- Environment and Prevention that represents us.

FRIZONIA PARTICIPATES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM OF THE SUBMARINE S-81 “ISAAC PERAL”
FRIZONIA participates in the development of the air conditioning systems of the S-80 submarines. “Isaac Peral” is the first to be put afloat. It is the pioneer of a total of four modern submersibles that will enter service in the Spanish Navy until 2028. Specifically, FRIZONIA is responsible for the design, engineering, and manufacture of the air conditioning distribution duct system. The special weight and quality requirements have led to the implementation of a duct system that uses, in the same way, special materials of high quality and performance. On the other hand, it also develops the design, engineering, and manufacture of the droplet separator for the air intake of the local diesel generators. FRIZONIA consolidates itself as a LINDAB dealer after more than a year of successful collaboration between both entities
FRIZONIA celebrates its agreement with LINDAB, after more than a year of fruitful synergies as a distributor for Spain and Portugal of its complete range of marine products. In February 2020, FRIZONIA became a marine dealer for LINDAB, a world leader in ventilation solutions. This relationship would further strengthen their ties shortly thereafter, with the visit of the FRIZONIA Technical-Commercial team to the company’s facilities located in Sweden and Denmark, in March of that same year. The special meeting for the team to learn first-hand about the manufacturing process of LINDAB articles, in those of application in the naval and industrial sector. On the other hand, they had the opportunity to witness the work carried out in the testing and development laboratory, where technical details, improvements, and innovations that make LINDAB a benchmark in the market are polished. The meeting served to put more value, if possible, products characterized by their high quality, ease of assembly, energy efficiency, and ecological design. Since then, FRIZONIA professionals have been applying them in the HVAC systems they design, as well as advising third parties on the application of LINDAB ventilation solutions, in the naval, industrial, and offshore sectors. FRIZONIA implements the HVAC / NBC system for the second Australian Navy ship in NAVANTIA Ferrol
FRIZONIA implements in Navantia Ferrol the commissioning of the HVAC / NBC and Refrigeration systems of the second logistics vessel AOR (Auxiliary Oil Replenishment), for the Australian Navy. The technical team that moved there has carried out its work in coordination, both with the Galician Shipyard's own staff, as well as with the FRIZONIA engineering area, who have provided their support and advice from the company's official headquarters in San Fernando (Cádiz). It has been a joint action that is allowing the strict satisfaction of the deadlines set by the program. The testing and delivery phase have consolidated the fulfillment of the design requirements, the functionality of the system and the final quality of the product. FRIZONIA appreciates the trust placed by NAVANTIA and the Australian Navy, as well as the effort and professionalism shown by its staff every day.

LAUNCH OF THE SECOND CORVETTE FOR THE ROYAL SAUDI NAVY
Frizonia is proud of its participation in the construction of the second Saudi corvette, which will be launched tomorrow, November 14, 2020, at the Navantia Shipyard, San Fernando. Frizonia, a company specialized in air conditioning and refrigeration systems with more than 27 years of experience in the sector, has been in charge of the engineering and design, manufacture and installation of the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) and refrigeration system of the C / 547 ALDIRIYAH. This is the second corvette built in Navantia for the Royal Saudi Navy, under the framework of an agreement that covers a total of five units, which will be delivered progressively until 2023. The ceremony will begin at 13:35 without the presence of audience at the stands, as it would have been in other circumstances. However, according to the local press, the Navantia steering committee and a military and technical personnel from Saudi Arabia representation will attend. Belén Gualda, new president of the company, will be one of the guests at the event and her presence will mean her debut in the position at official level.

FRIZONIA PARTICIPATES IN THE SEA TRIALS OF THE AOR VESSEL
Frizonia within the framework of the contract for the supply of the HVAC system, has participated in the sea trials of the first logistics ship built by the Navantia shipyard in Ferrol for the Royal Australian Navy. The ship AOR (Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment) Supply, has carried out the sea trials this week, embarking 135 crew members, including personnel from Frizonia to verify the correct operation of the HVAC system, until completing a navigation of three days and two nights. The results of the tests have been totally satisfactory according to the planned schedule. FRIZONIA gets the contract for the HVAC system of a new BDA ship

During the last week our Technical-Sales team visited the facilities in Sweden and Denmark of LINDAB, world leader in ventilation solutions, and our partner in Spain and Portugal where we are dealers. During these visits we have been able to know the manufacturing line where the entire range of ventilation products are manufactured as well as the testing and product development laboratories where all the technical details, improvements and innovations to be applied in the products and solutions are analyzed and coordinated. FRIZONIA gets the contract for the HVAC system of the vessel BALIZADOR for COTECMAR
FRIZONIA has been contracted to develop the Engineering, manufacturing and supply of the HVAC equipment for the vessel BALIZADOR. The scope of work includes the development of basic HVAC engineering, manufacturing and supply of chiller plants units, fan coils units and fans. The vessel shall provide anchoring and spoiling services for the demarcation of the navigation channels and support with other navigational hazards. It shall have a deck area for work of 100 m², with accommodation for 15 persons and a working crane with a capacity of up to 15 tons. El pasado Lunes 21 de Enero de 2019, en el Arsenal de Ferrol (Galicia), Navantia hizo entrega a la Armanda Española del Buque de Acción Maritima (BAM) “Furor”. Al acto acudieron varias autoridades políticas y militares, entre las que destaca la presencia de la Ministra de Defensa, Doña Margarita Robles y del presidente de la Xunta de Galicia, Don Alberto Núñez Feijoo; también acudió la presidenta de Navantia, Doña Susana de Sarriá. El acto se ha desarrollado siguiendo el procolo habitual del ceremonial marítimo, comenzando con la inspección del buque y la firma de la documentación de recepción del mismo. Finalizada la ceremonia, la ministra de Defensa y las autoridades que le han acompañado han subido a bordo para saludar a la dotación y realizar un breve recorrido por su interior. Este es el sexto buque del programa BAM de la Armada Española. Los BAM se caracterizan por ser unos modernos buques con avanzada tecnología, de tamaño moderado, altas prestaciones, gran versatilidad en cuanto a misiones, alto nivel de interacción con otros buques de la Armada y con un coste de adquisición y ciclo de vida reducido. El nuevo buque de la Armada Española tendrá como base el Arsenal Militar de Cartagena. Las capacidades del buque le permiten realizar misiones como vigilancia de la contaminación marítima, actuar como hospital en caso de catástrofe humanitaria o luchar contra la piratería en aguas internacionales. Dispone de los sistemas más modernos de mando y control, de combate y de comunicaciones, así como unos elementos de habitabilidad superiores a los recomendados por la normativa OTAN. El BAM “Furor” desplaza 2.840 toneladas, tiene una eslora de 93,90 metros, 14,20 metros de manga, y puede alcanzar una velocidad de 20,5 nudos. FRIZONIA has supplied the ventilation equipment of the ASP Machine House technical building (engine room of the air separation plant) for the Steel Complex currently under construction in Algeria. In particular, there are four air supply modules and two extraction modules. They are huge equipment, which circulate a total of 145000 m3/h of filtered air. FRIZONIA has carried out the commissioning of the refrigeration system for provision stores for the ship ARM “Jalisco”, under construction at Astilleros de la Marina Nº 20, in Salina Cruz (Oaxaca) for the Secretary of the Navy and Navy Mexican (SEMAR). The ARM “Jalisco” is an oceanic patrol boat (OPV) of the class “Oaxaca”, 86m in length. The oceanic patrollers of this class, have the mission of carrying out patrol and surveillance operations in the Exclusive Economic Zone to maintain the Rule of Law at sea; in addition to conducting search and rescue operations to safeguard human life, as well as actions to support the civilian population that guarantee the physical safety of people in disaster situations.

FRIZONIA participates in the sea tests of the HVAC system of the vessel BAM “Furor”
At the end of last September, the sea trials of the new Maritime Action Ship “Furor” that is being built in the shipyards of Navantia in Ferrol (Galicia – Spain) for the Spanish Navy were carried out. FRIZONIA has been hired to supply the ventilation system of several buildings of a Steel Complex that is currently being built in Algeria. This large industrial complex, located in the province of Jijel, about 359 kilometers from Algiers, is held by Algerian Qatar Steel. Both countries (Algeria and Qatar) have made an investment of 2 billion dollars. FRIZONIA obtains the contract for the Remodeling of the Air Conditioning System of the logistics vessel BAP “Tacna” of the Peruvian Navy
FRIZONIA has been hired by SIMA (Industrial Services of the Navy) to carry out the design, manufacture and installation of a new Chilled Water Plant for the Air Conditioning system for the logistics vessel BAP “Tacna” of the Peruvian Navy. The project has difficulties of access on board, so its design must be carried out the individual pieces, introduction and final assembly on board. FRIZONIA has been able to demonstrate to the Peruvian Navy its experience in the development of this type of projects which has been very important in the award. With this project, Frizonia intends to consolidate itself in the Peruvian Defence market after two years of commercial relations and after the signing of an important agreement. The BAP “Tacna” is a supply vessel with a length of 165.84 mt and a crew of 209 crew members. Initially he belonged to the Royal Navy of the Netherlands and became part of the Peruvian Navy in 2014.

Delivery of the “Andalucía II” substation (East Anglia One)
Last July in Puerto Real (Cádiz) SPAIN, the ceremony for the delivery of the “Andalucía II” substation, destined for the East Anglia One offshore wind farm in the United Kingdom, to Iberdrola was carried out by Navantia. The “Andalucía II” marine substation is the central core of the wind farm that Iberdrola promotes in British waters and its function is to collect the electricity produced by wind turbines and transform the voltage from 66 kV to 220 kV. FRIZONIA concludes its contract for Submarine S-81 Plus “Isaac Peral” of the Spanish Navy
Within the agreement already announced between NAVANTIA and FRIZONIA relating to the S-80 project, the supply has been made in accordance with the contract for the distribution system of Air Conditioning of Submarine S-81P “Isaac Peral” for the Spanish Navy that is being built in Navantia in its factory in Cartagena (Murcia). The S80 program is especially demanding in terms of quality requirements, space limitations and weights. Within the scope of supply, very specific engineering calculations have been developed, such as CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) calculations and verification calculations for subsequent Shock Tests. The crash tests established for the requirements of the project have been carried out successfully in Navantia Cartagena. FRIZONIA we are proud to be able to participate with Navantia in this demanding and highly specialized program.

FRIZONIA has given a specific training course for Operation and Maintenance on board the HVAC System for the crew of the new BAM ship “Audaz” of the Spanish Navy
As part of the contract signed with NAVANTIA regarding the supply of the HVAC system of the two new Maritime Action Vessels (BAM program), for the Spanish Navy, from the 7th to the 11th of May FRIZONIA gave a specific training course on Operation and Maintenance on board of the HVAC System for the crew of the new ship BAM 5 “Audaz”, at the Navantia facilities in San Fernando. We want to thank the confidence that NAVANTIA and the Spanish Navy have placed in FRIZONIA once again. We are proud to collaborate in the training of the ship’s crew. We believe that adequate training is the key to success in the maintenance and operation of on-board systems. After completing the theoretical-practical course, the ship’s crew is able to manage and maintain the entire system on board, including the use of the help and simulation tools, as well as to interpret the plans, diagrams and configurations, detect faults and use all the necessary tools and instruments to carry out correct corrective and preventive maintenance operations.

FRIZONIA receives the inspection of SEMAR for the equipment of the ship ARM “Jalisco”
The last 19th of April, we had the pleasure of receiving at our facilities in San Fernando in Cádiz (Spain) the visit of the representative of the SEMAR “Secretariat of Navy and Mexican Navy” to carry out the inspection of equipment and materials that FRIZONIA has manufactured for the HVAC system of the ship ARM “Jalisco”, currently under construction in Mexico. For this supervision, we have been proud to attend to Mr. Vice-Admiral Fernando Alfonso Angli (Naval Attaché of Mexico in Spain) and Mr. Captain Jaime Manuel Mejía Mora (Deputy to the Naval Attaché of Mexico in Spain). During this visit the degree of quality of the equipment manufactured and the availability of the same for immediate delivery has been verified. The result was totally satisfactory for both parties and reflects the fulfillment of FRIZONIA deadlines and qualities, strengthening its already close relationship with the Mexican Navy.

FRIZONIA did the FAT tests of the Chillers for the ship AAOR
Last February, the FAT tests of the refrigeration plants for the first vessel AAOR (Australian Auxiliary Oiler Replanishment) for the Australian Navy were made at our facilities in San Fernando in Cádiz (Spain). Its development was done with inspectors from the Navantia Ferrol test team. The purpose of the FAT tests is to inspect the system in factory accordance with the demanding protocols defined with Navantia Ferrol and the Australian Navy. During the FAT tests, all the components of the system have been reviewed with SUCCESS and the consequent acceptance of the equipment by the customer.

Delivery of equipment for the ship BDA MKII-URR for COTECMAR
In compliance with the current contract, FRIZONIA has delivered the equipment and materials for the HVAC system and refrigerated stores for the vessel BDA MKII-URR, of the National Navy of Colombia. The ship is currently under construction at the Cotecmar Shipyard in Cartagena de Índias (Colombia). FRIZONIA participates in Submarine Program S81 Plus for the Spanish Navy
FRIZONIA has been contracted for the Engineering, supply and Integrated Logistic Support in the distribution system for the Air Conditioning of Submarine S-81P for the Spanish Navy that is being built in Navantia in its Cartagena factory (Murcia). With a hull diameter of 7.30 meters, a maximum length greater than 81 meters and a displacement in immersion close to 3,000 tons, this is a submarine that incorporates very advanced technologies in their systems, whose integration imposes great difficulty. Due to the operating conditions, this project requires high training and high demands for quality control.

FRIZONIA obtains the contract for the HVAC + R systems for the BDA MKII-URR vessel for COTECMAR
FRIZONIA has been hired to develop the Engineering, equipment manufacturing and supply for the HVAC systems and refrigerated stores for the vessel BDA MKII-URR for COTECMAR. The BDA units of the Colombian Navy have been designed by COTECMAR to develop humanitarian aid operations for the civilian population and logistical support to military bases on land. It has a maximum crew of 51, a length of 49 m and a beam of 11 m. With this additional unit, the (ARC) National Navy of the Republic of Colombia increases its rescue and operation benefits. FRIZONIA supplies the equipments for the HVAC System and Refrigerated Stores for the vessel “BAL-C Honduras”
Fulfilling the current contract, FRIZONIA has delivered equipment and components for the HVAC system of accommodation and refrigeration stores for the ship “BAL-C Honduras” being built in the shipyards of Cotecmar for the Honduran Navy, Cartagena de Indias (Colombia). The cargo and the deadlines have been fulfilled to the satisfaction of the client. The “BAL-C Honduras” unit is a logistical and cabotage support vessel that can navigated autonomy 40-days with 15 people, a length of 49 meters and an 11-meter sleeve. Its draft is 1.5 meters, can transport 210 tons on the cargo deck and has modern communication equipment and two power generators.

During the International Fair ColombiaMar 2017, held in Cartagena de Indias, COTECMAR and FRIZONIA have signed a Commercial Agreement that serves as a basis for establishing a strategic relationship between both corporations. FRIZONIA has been hired for the supply of the HVAC+R System of a BAL-C vessel for the Armed Forces of Honduras
FRIZONIA has been hired for the supply of the HVAC System and Refrigerated Stores for a BAL-C vessel for the Armed Forces of Honduras. This Logistic and Cabotage Ship will be built by Cotecmar Shipyard located in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. Its design is based on the BDA MKII (Amphibious Landing Ship) which Cotecmar has built four units for the Colombian Navy. FRIZONIA will be in charge of the design of the systems, manufacture of equipment, supply of all the materials and commissioning of the installation.

FRIZONIA expands its capacity with the acquisition of two industrial unit
FRIZONIA has formalized the acquisition of two industrial units annexed to its existing facilties in San Fernando (Cádiz), adding 600 m2 to its productive capacity in plant. The current facilities will be completely remodeled to expand and renew the Engineering, Logistics and Training Areas, based on the high demand and growth that the company is experiencing. The new facilities will be dedicated exclusively to production, manufacturing and testing. Remodeling work will begin in the first quarter of 2017, with the start of service in the second / third quarter of 2017.

FRIZONIA has been hired for the HVAC system of the ship “ARM Hidalgo” (SEMAR)
FRIZONIA has been hired to supply, supervise the assembly and the commissioning of the HVAC system of the “ARM Hidalgo” Oceanic Patrol Vessel, under construction at the Astilleros de la Marina Nº 20 in Salina Cruz (Oaxaca) for the Secretaria de Marina, Mexican Navy. This new vessel, ARM “Hidalgo” (PO-166), will have the mission of patrolling and carry out surveillance operations in the Exclusive Economic Zone to maintain the rule of law at sea; furthermore it will do rescue operations to safeguard human life, supporting the civilian population to ensure the physical safety of people in disaster situations. The ship will have a length of 86 meters, and an 11-meter sleeve, in addition to being able to navigate 8500 nautical miles or 30 days of autonomy, its displacement will be 1860 tons and its speed could be 20 knots per hour, it can accommodate up to 120 Crew.

The vessel “ARM Chiapas” will operate in Mexican waters, in which FRIZONIA has its subsidiary FRIZONIA México, guaranteeing the appropriate after-sales service.

FRIZONIA has delivered the HVAC+R system for the ship “ARC Roncador” to Armón Vigo
Fulfilling the current contract, FRIZONIA has successfully delivered the HVAC+R System of the hydrographic vessel “ARC Roncador”, built in Armón Vigo Shipyards for the Colombian Navy. The system has been supplied to the Shipyard under turnkey conditions, developing the Engineering, supply of equipment, assembly on board and commissioning of the systems. In addition, FRIZONIA has provided specific training for operators on board, providing added value to the supply. It is a hydrographic vessel of 45.9 meters in length, 10.5 of width and capacity for 27 crew. This ship will perform scientific tasks, oceanographic and defense operations. The ship “ARC Roncador” will operate mainly in Colombian waters, in which FRIZONIA has its subsidiary FRIZONIA COLOMBIA, guaranteeing the appropriate after-sales service.

Frizonia has delivered the Air Conditioning System of the “Cambambe 2” Hydroelectric Power Plant in Angola
Fulfilling the current contract, FRIZONIA has successfully delivered the installation and commissioning of the Air Conditioning System of the Cambambe 2 Hydroelectric Plant in Angola. The scope of supply includes Engineering, supply of equipment and materials, plant installation and commissioning of the system. The Central is located on the Kwanza River, in the municipality of Dondo in Kwanza Norte, located about 180kms east of Luanda, Angola. This center is part of an ambitious Angola project that will be able to be self-sufficiency next year.

FRIZONIA will give his “I summer course in Air conditioning and Refrigeration systems for Marine and Industrial sectors”
During July and August, as part of our training activities and to fulfill our needs for University Technical specialists in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning systems for Marine and Industrial sectors, we will develop an intensive course on our premises in San Fernando. The course is targeted to five newly qualified or senior year engineers with the desire to acquire knowledge in a specific area such as the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration at its naval and industrial application. The course content, in addition to the important specific technical matters, will include matters relating to the organization of the company (Quality, Prevention, Management, etc). The primary objective is to provide professional guidance for young people and empower them to integrate into Frizonia`s team as qualified technicians. The selection process of young engineers has been carried out in collaboration with the University of Cadiz.

FRIZONIA receives from the Spanish Defence Ministry the AQAP 2110 certification
Last week, FRIZONIA received from the Spanish Defence Ministry the certificate AQAP 2110 to our company. AQAP 2110 certifies that the Quality Management System of FRIZONIA complies with the requirements of Quality Assurance, established by the different Ministries of Defence of the countries member of NATO in the design, manufacturing, maintenance, supply and assembly of products and installations of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration for the Navy sector. Delivery of Water Chiller Plant for new BAM vessels
Fulfilling the current contract, last week, FRIZONIA has delivered the water chillers plants for HVAC system of the second series of Maritime Action Ship (BAM). The Chillers are designed and manufactured in our facilities, its design is made with the highest demands in reliability, size, reduced maintenance and monitored control. The plants are supplied to the Shipyard completely finished for introduction on board under preassembled steel block so the compliance with deadlines is very important. The Certification AQAP 2110 certifies that the Management System Quality of FRIZONIA meets the requirements of Quality Assurance, established by the different ministries of defense of the countries of NATO in the design, manufacture, maintenance, supply and assembly of products and installations Refrigeration and Air Conditioning for the naval defense sector. In Spain, Scheme AQAP certification series 2000 requires having previously certified Quality System under ISO requirements and complementary compliance with demanding Specific instructions for the Development, Implementation and Control of Quality Plans, Risk Management and Configuration Management applied to defense. FRIZONIA initiates the FAT tests for the Chiller Plants for the new BAM Vessels
Last week, FRIZONIA begun the FAT tests for the Chilled Water Plants for the new Action Maritime Vessels. These tests were witnessed by staff from Navantia and the Spanish Navy. The tests were carried out in our facilities in San Fernando, Cadiz, Spain. The purpose of the FAT tests is to examine the plants Chilled Water Plants in the factory, according to the established demanding protocols. During the FAT tests, the equipment and the control system were examined according to the Inspection Program List with a successful result.

Frizonia develops Basic Engineering for the HVAC system of a desalination plant in Singapore
FRIZONIA has been contracted to develop the basic engineering of the HVAC system for a desalination plant in Singapore. In the last few years, Singapore has invested heavily in these industries tripling the national capacity conversion seawater into drinking water. This desalination plant is part of a set of plants already in operation implemented by the Singaporean government. This plant is designed to supply more than 136,000 m3 of water a day. In the last years, FRIZONIA is investing heavily in the sector of industrial plants with high engineering content, developing its capabilities in power plants, water treatment, etc.

FRIZONIA hires the “rebuilding” of the air conditioning system of a luxury yacht
FRIZONIA has been hired for the renovation of air conditioning system of a luxury yacht of 45m and 9.35 m wide. It is a luxury yacht with the highest requirements concerning accommodation and comfort. The work will be done in a shipyard located in east coast of Spain.

FRIZONIA hire the air conditioning system of a pusher ship
FRIZONIA, through its subsidiary in Colombia, has been hired for the engineering, supply of equipment and components and commissioning of the air conditioning system of the new construction of a Pusher ship for Cotecmar. It is a river pusher vessel with 33 meters long and 11.50 meters wide. The ship is a Cotecmar design and it is appropriate to advance the recovery of the Magdalena River.

COTECMAR has received the Innovation Award by Accenture
COTECMAR has received the Innovation Award awarded by the international consultancy Accenture in its 3rd edition. In particular, has received the award for the development of the second generation of BDA (MKII) vessels, project in which FRIZONIA is involved in its construction with the supply of the HVAC system and cold rooms. The BDA units of the Colombian Navy, have been designed in order to carry out humanity aid operations for the civilians and logistic support for military stations by providing transport for personnel, vehicles, machinery and eadibles, amongst others. These vessels are capable of carrying up to 322 people and 210 tons of cargo. It also has a ramp on the bow that allows loading and unloading equipment and heavy machinery. Frizonia gets the order for HVAC+Refrigeration System for Multipurpose Hydrographic Ship
FRIZONIA has been contracted to supply the HVAC system and provision stores for a new construction of a Multipurpose Hydrographic ship for DIMAN in Colombia. The vessel will be built at Astilleros Armon Vigo in collaboration with Cotecmar. This is a ship of 45.90 meters long and 10.50 meters wide with accommodation for 27 people. FRIZONIA get a contract for a Hydroelectric Plant in Angola
FRIZONIA has been contracted for supplying the Air Conditioning and Ventilation systems of a Hydroelectric Plant that is under construction in Angola. The scope of the contract includes the supply of all equipment and materials, supervision of installation and commissioning of the systems. The Central is located in the Kwanza River in the town of Dondo, Kwanza Norte Province, located about 180kms east of Luanda, Angola.

FRIZONIA hired for HVAC system for a tug to Israel
FRIZONIA has been contracted to supply the “turnkey” HVAC System for a new construction of a tug for the Haifa Harbour (Israel). This is the C/749 of Zamakona Shipyard, and is twin to the ILAN I, currently in operation and was also providing by FRIZONIA. The tug has 70 tons of bollard pull and 31.50 m long and 12.50 meters wide.

This is the second ship of the serie, and aims to develop operations of humanitarian aid to the civilian population and logistical support to military bases on land, by transporting personnel, vehicles, machinery, food, among others. The vessel is capable of carrying up to 322 people and 210 tons of cargo. It also has a bow ramp which allows the loading and unloading of equipment and heavy machinery in hard to reach places. This new project confirms the FRIZONIA establishment in the Colombian market.

FRIZONIA has been selected to carry out the validation of the design, manufacture and supply of equipment, supervision and commissioning of air conditioning system for The Training Sailing Ship ARC Gloria of Colombian Navy. The ARC Gloria belongs to the Colombian Navy and it is the flagship of the naval academy. It is a sailing vessel with 67m long and 10.60m wide has a crew of over 130 people. FRIZONIA contracted to ship ARC “20 de Julio”
FRIZONIA has been selected for developing the engineering and supply of equipment for the enhancement of the heating system of the ARC “20 de Julio” unit. This is the ship ARC “20 de Julio” , an ocean patrol type OCV-80 has been considered by international experts in the marine industry as an example of technological development and the maritime industry in Colombia. It will for the first time to Antarctica in an expedition will start on 16th December and they will be back on March 12, 2015. The expedition has been planned and is managed by the Navy of Colombia (ARC) through the Chief of Naval Operations , the Directorate General Maritime (DIMAR) and Colombian Ocean Commission (BCC), in order to start the second National Antarctic phase program of designating own ships travelling the “white continent” for ongoing scientific research. The ship carried 21 researchers from 16 institutions between local and international. Colombia acceded to the Antarctic Treaty in the year 1989. In it the international administration of the Antarctic region, which is based on an exclusive use for peaceful purposes, a large contribution to scientific knowledge is established.

The platform will be dedicated to the exploitation of gas field Vega Pléyade, located in the province of Tierra del Fuego, Patagonia, Argentina, where the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans come together through the Strait of Magellan. It is an unmanned platform with a high standard of quality and high design requirements due to extreme environmental operating temperatures.

FRIZONIA has been awarded the contract for a Water Treatment plant in Colombia
FRIZONIA has been contracted to design and execution of air conditioning system in a water treatment plant from a refinery in Colombia. The contract scope includes design, equipment manufacturing, installation and commissioning of plant systems. It will be executed by FRIZONIA Spain and its subsidiary FRIZONIA Colombia. The plant will treat, by reverse osmosis, the raw water (500,000 barrels per day) coming directly from oil production at the Rubiales field near Puerto Gaitán, in the Meta district of Colombia. Shipping the HVAC equipment for the Mexican Navy

The vessel ordered by Jan de Nul Group (Belgium) is specifically designed for operation in shallow or confined waters, having a design draft of only 11m and a length between perpendiculars of only 161.5m.

Increased Security of the Dry Ice Blasting Machines
Since 2008, to improve the safety of the machines, Icetech has substituted the old couplings of the blasting hoses and in consequence, you have to substitute the old couplings of your machine and also the gun.

I Conference of Dry Ice Blasting – 11th December in San Fernando (Cádiz)
FRIZONIA organizes the First Conference of Dry Ice Blasting on 11th December in San Fernando (Cádiz). Dry ice blasting is a revolutionary blasting method that uses small, compact dry ice pellets as the blasting material. The dry ice pellets are accelerated in a jet of compressed air similar to that used in traditional blasting methods. Dry ice blasting is designed to replace high-pressure hosing and other traditional blasting methods that use materials such as sand, glass and plastic as abrasive agents. FRIZONIA has bet on the implantation and the development of the Dry Ice Blasting in Spain. For this reason, FRIZONIA organizes this Conference, where we will do a theoretical exhibition of the basic topics about Dry Ice Blasting and also a demo about Dry Ice Blasting aplications.

FRIZONIA has obtained the order to install the HVAC system in accommodation spaces of the “Geomaster” vessel, in Astander. The Santander’s shipyard is carrying out the conversion of the ship to adapt it for its new use as seismic ship. FRIZONIA REFRIGERACION-CLIMATIZACION, S.L. Has succesfully finalized the first stage of works consisting in to replace the water chiller units onboard the spanish army main vessel A/C Principe de Asturias (R11). The actual work, up to the complete replacement of the four chiller plants , has been of a great complexity because all the works has been made maintaining the operativity of the vessel. It has been necessary a complete dismounting of the units to be introduced onboard component by component and mounted again at working room.
