Last Tuesday, FRIZONIA received the visit of the Admiral of the Fleet (ALFLOT), Admiral Eugenio Díaz del Río Jáudenes. During the visit to FRIZONIA’s facilities in San Fernando, the ALFLOT was able to see first-hand the status of the projects in which the company is immersed. Among the work shown to the Admiral, the progress in the design and manufacture of HVAC and NBC equipment for the F-110 and BAM-IS programmes was highlighted.
The ALFLOT was able to visit the Engineering Area where he saw how the HVAC and Refrigeration systems and equipment that will be part of the new vessels are designed. The Admiral also visited the factory to see first hand the equipment ready for shipment to the shipyard.
“For us it has been an honour and a satisfaction to have had the visit of ALFLOT,” said Javier Gamundi, president of Frizonia. “We are deeply grateful to him for his interest and his closeness”, Gamundi continued.
FRIZONIA was able to show ALFLOT its capabilities as a company specialised in the naval sector and with more than 30 years of experience in defence projects, not only for the Spanish Navy. It is also involved in the development of solutions for the Colombian Patrullera Oceánica for the Colombian Navy, the Escotillón for the Chilean Navy and the Avante 1800 project for the Royal Moroccan Navy.
